Roofing company

This roofing contractor was previously working from an Excel spreadsheet that would calculate job price and commission but it required a lot of manual input for each job and it would not store orders and clients, there was also no way to track commission for each salesperson or run reports.

He had an application created for him by another programmer but since the programmer pretty much recreated his Excel sheet in MS Access, he wasn't happy with the results.

The app that we created automates the job creation process. There's a preset list of options for each roof type and they get filled in automatically when a job order is created. The user then has the option to delete/add/edit these entries. The prices are filled in automatically along with commission percentages and other calculations. Clients and salespeople are stored in a different screen, commissions are tracked, reports are setup, each job takes only moments.

Financial company

This company needed a quick and easy way to process monthly reporting and billing for their clients. The app that we created processes monthly imports, gives them the ability to check data integrity using quick filters and/or buttons, and to send client reports.

The app also automatically creates bills using various algorithms and sends invoices. It also stores each month's imported data and report sending can be done automatically or semi automatically (they can see a preview of each report before sending). The app also prevents emailing the same client more than once.

Image Storing Screen

This company needed a way to store images and documents and quickly see a preview of each image. They needed the ability to store multiple images/documents per record.

This screen allows them to store a pretty much unlimited number of images/documents per record.

Clicking the hyperlink shows a preview of the image in the box on the bottom (if the attached file isn't an image, it will open in the corresponding application), double clicking the date field opens the image in a separate window. Attaching an image/document takes a few clicks.
